I was born in 1995 in Kohalpur, Nepal, and have always been drawn to the power of visual storytelling. In 2018, I moved to Japan to pursue my dream after receiving a scholarship from The Asahi Shimbun. I began my journey by enrolling at KEN School of Japanese Language in October 2019, where I completed a two-year language program. In April 2020, I entered the Tokyo Visual Arts College, specializing in fashion photography.
In 2022, my graduation project—a photobook titled Sati—was awarded the Grand Prix, marking a key moment in my creative journey. The following year, my work The Journey of Suffering & Awakening was nominated for the 2nd Fugensha Photo Award, further encouraging me to explore photography as a medium for emotional and cultural reflection. In 2024, I took on the role of photographer and art director at Didi Ltd., where I continue to grow as an artist and collaborator.
Currently based in Tokyo, my work blends personal history with conceptual storytelling, often exploring themes of memory, identity, spirituality, and cultural transformation. Through a careful balance of emotion and form, I aim to evoke inner wisdom and invite reflection on the human experience.
